Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.monoplextheatres.com (the “Website”) and all associated services provided by Monoplex Inc. a Delaware corporation (“Monoplex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including any point-of-sale functionality, ticket purchasing, and related transactions (“Services”). By accessing or using the Website or the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Website or the Services.
 
Monoplex provides an online platform through which individuals can purchase movie theater tickets for luxury, technologically advanced cinema experiences. Monoplex does not own the building or the venue of the cinema and serves primarily as the point-of-sale system provider for ticketing, sales, refunds, and related services. All references to “you” or “user” in these Terms mean any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Website or Services. Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
 

  1. Eligibility and Scope of Use: By using the Website, you represent that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Your use of the Website is for personal, non-commercial purposes, and you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any use of the Website or the Services in violation of these Terms or applicable laws may result in the immediate termination or suspension of your access to the Website or Services.

  2. Ticket Purchases and Transactions: All ticket sales, including pricing, availability, and showtimes, are subject to change without notice. You are responsible for reviewing your order details, including date, time, and location, prior to completing any purchase. All sales are final unless otherwise indicated. Refunds or exchanges may be provided solely at our discretion and in accordance with our Refund Policy or any applicable local consumer protection laws. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any transaction at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, unauthorized payment methods, suspected fraudulent transactions, or errors in pricing or ticket availability.

  3. No Ownership of Cinema Venues: Monoplex does not own or operate the physical cinema venues. The operation, maintenance, and condition of any cinema are the sole responsibility of the respective property owners or managers. Monoplex is not responsible for venue-related conditions including building safety, cleanliness, or schedule changes initiated by a venue. By using our Website, you acknowledge that any dispute or concern relating to the physical venue must be directed to the relevant venue owner or manager

  4. Intellectual Property Rights: All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and user interfaces, is owned or licensed by Monoplex and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or publicly display any content from the Website without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use of the content may result in civil or criminal penalties.

  5. User Conduct: You agree not to (a) use the Website or Services for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage or impair the Website or the Services; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website or Services; (c) interfere with or disrupt the functionality or performance of the Website or Services; or (d) use any automated means (including bots or scrapers) to access or gather information from the Website.

  6. Refund Policy: Refunds are available only for tickets canceled within the first 15 minutes after the scheduled showtime begins. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. No refunds will be granted for:

    • Missed showtimes

    • Partially used tickets

      • Expired tickets or promotional passes

        To request a refund before the applicable deadline, you may:

      • Use the link provided in your email confirmation

      • Contact us directly via phone or email

      • Visit the cinema venue in person

        Please have your order number and payment details ready when making your request.

  7. Booking Fee: All online ticket purchases include a non-refundable booking fee. This fee covers the cost of secure online processing and seat selection and will not be refunded, even if a ticket is canceled.

  8. Disclaimers: The Website and Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty or guarantee about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any content or services provided through the Website, including showtimes, ticket availability, and venue suitability. Your use of the Website and Services is at your own risk.

  9. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permissible by law, Monoplex, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, or agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or costs of procurement of substitute goods or services) arising out of or related to these Terms, the Website, or the Services. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you for tickets purchased in the preceding three months.

  10. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Monoplex, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or in any way connected with your use of the Website or Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

  11. Links to our Website. Monoplex does not review or control third-party websites that contain links to the Website and assumes no responsibility for the contents of any such off-site pages or any other sites linked to the Website.

  12. Modifications to the Terms: We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website or Services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

  13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the Website, or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree that any arbitration shall take place on an individual basis, and you waive any right to participate in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. General Use: Monoplex Gift Cards are electronic only (no physical cards issued) and may be used exclusively to purchase movie tickets at www.monoplextheatres.com for any Monoplex location. Gift Cards cannot be used for concessions, merchandise, or to purchase other gift cards, unless explicitly stated by Monoplex.

  2. Provider and Issuer: Monoplex Inc. is the card issuer and sole obligor to the cardholder. Monoplex Inc. may delegate its issuer obligations to an authorized assignee or service provider (including Veezi) without recourse. If delegated, the assignee will be solely responsible for those obligations.

  3. Card Type and Balance: Gift Cards are available in denominations of $25 and $50 and operate as prepaid debit cards with a stored balance. Balances can be used to purchase tickets and pay online booking fees through www.monoplextheatres.com

  4. Redemption: Gift Cards may be redeemed only on the Monoplex website. They are not valid for in-person redemption at theater box offices or through third-party ticketing platforms unless otherwise authorized by Monoplex.

  5. Restrictions: Gift Cards may not be resold, transferred for value, or exchanged for cash (except as required by law). Gift Cards are non-refundable and not replaceable if lost, stolen, damaged, or used without authorization. Gift Cards are not credit or debit cards and do not accrue interest.

  6. No Expiration or Fees: Monoplex Gift Cards do not expire and are not subject to service, maintenance, or inactivity fees.

  7. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monoplex Inc., and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use, inability to use, or performance of the Gift Card, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of business. In any event, Monoplex’s total liability to you shall not exceed the remaining balance on your Gift Card at the time of the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

  9. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from or relating to the Monoplex Gift Card shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

  10. Fraud and Misuse: Monoplex reserves the right to refuse to honor a Gift Card or cancel any transaction if it believes the card was obtained fraudulently, altered, or used in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Monoplex may suspend or deactivate a Gift Card pending investigation in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.



  11. Privacy: Use of the Gift Card and related online services is subject to Monoplex’s Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected.

  12. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

  13. Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Monoplex regarding the Gift Card and supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements.

  14. Acceptance of Terms: Purchase, use, or acceptance of a Monoplex Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which may be updated periodically. The most current version will always be available at www.monoplextheatres.com
